- The art of writing software for a living and the issues it entails.
- Running Linux and making it work for you.
- Computer technology in general. History, philosophy of use, future directions.
- Computer collecting and restoration. Especially older Unix workstations and servers.
I've decided to break these topics out into their own space since they are rather specialist and I want to keep them separate from other topics.
The intended audience are software developers, especially those who write code for a living, computer hobbyists, software development managers and those who just have a passion for computers in general.
Posting format will generally be HOWTOs or essays. HOWTOs are mainly for me to document problems I've encountered and solved and that I feel would be useful to others in similar situations. Essays will be on the topics listed above.
